About The Winning Grace

Mission/Belief

The Winning Grace of Faith Evangelical Ministries is a Christian evangelical organisation that produces and distributes media and resources, including radio podcasts and articles, to spread the Gospel message and help people grow in their faith. Rev. Yaw-Afreh Sarpong, a pastor and chaplain (spiritual and healthcare supporter), is the organisation’s founder and head Pastor. It is headquartered in London, United Kingdom.

The Motive Behind Our Mission

When the Holy Spirit descended upon the people on the Day of Pentecost, around 3000 were converted and added to the Church. These new believers remained steadfast in their faith, following the Apostles’ teachings and participating in fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayers authentically, as the disciples of Jesus taught them by the power of the Holy Spirit, as mentioned in Acts 2:42.

These authentic practices are fading away in today’s world of euphemism, where absolute truths are being questioned and challenged and replaced with substitutionary practices. These practices overshadow the sound doctrine and practices of conversion delivered to the saints in the New Testament and are classified as non-essential. With its orientation of evangelical teachings, the Winning Grace of Faith Evangelical Ministries understands that by relying on the Holy Bible, God’s inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word, we can have peace and assurance knowing that we are following God’s absolute truth.

Our World

The Great Discussion

Again, it should be noted that not only are world philosophies attacking the absolutes, but many professionals and leaders in Christendom are attacking and undermining or laying aside all doctrine that deals with mankind’s sinfulness and God’s holiness through Christ in the Spirit. They classify it as dead, divisive, or unnecessary and thus resort to a philosophical gospel about social issues devoid of any biblical theology. This is the MISSING LINK in Christianity.

Not only is this so, but modern Christianity seems to avoid the necessity of being blameless before God, and that alone grieves the Holy Spirit of God we are warned not to do. (Ephesians 4:30-32). Thus, we are living in times of which the Holy Spirit expressly spoke; as it is written, that in the latter days, some shall depart from THE FAITH, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils (1 Timothy 4:1).

Being an orientation of Evangelical Ministries, we emphasise what was written in verse “Jude 3” about the importance of standing firm for the true faith delivered to the saints, which we are partakers of. God is calling Christians nowadays through “Jude 3” to contend for the faith they repented toward Him for. It is a costly grace that means fighting for and defending it against false teachings or beliefs. This biblical verse, theologically, highlights the significance of maintaining the integrity of the Christian faith and remaining faithful to its original teachings. It reminds us that we should not compromise our beliefs to fit in with the world or conform to popular opinion. Instead, we must hold fast to the faith passed down and strive to uphold its values and principles with unwavering commitment.

The driving force of encouragement as an Evangelical Ministry comes from the many commands in the New Testament writers, especially the Epistles. The one thing that strikes us as an Evangelical ministry is the Apostle Paul’s mission statement in chapter one of his letter to Romans. It helps our mental process of paying attention always to be prepared to defend the faith unashamed at all seasons. Paul said, “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes; to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, THE JUST Shall LIVE BY FAITH”. (Romans 1: 16, 17)
